Peruvian officials say the bodies of all 14 people including eight South Koreans killed in a helicopter crash last week have been recovered from the site of the mountain wreck.

The downed copter was discovered Saturday in the Peruvian Andes on Mama Rosa Mountain after it went missing the previous Wednesday. The helicopter apparently crashed into a mountain face some 49-hundred-50 meters above sea level near Coline in southern Peru.

Local police are considering transferring the bodies by car to the city of Ocongate about four hours away. The bodies will be identified there and the Koreans killed may later be flown to the capital Lima following consultations with the South Korean Embassy.

Among the eight Koreans killed were employees of Samsung C&T and the Korea Water Resources Corporation. They were returning from a trip to survey sites in southern Peru for the construction of a hydropower plant.
