Indian naval vessels have made a friendly visit to China for the first time in six years on a five-day goodwill tour.

Four Indian naval ships arrived in Shanghai on Wednesday as the two nations try to build mutual trust in international waters. Indian naval forces will visit Chinese naval vessels and promote exchanges with Chinese naval forces during their stay.

The two countries are increasing investments to strengthen their naval forces to boost their military presence in Asia.
