Flight Carrying Peru Crash Victims Leaves Lima

A Korean Air flight carrying the bodies of the eight South Korean victims killed in a helicopter crash left Lima, Peru on Sunday.

The plane is expected to arrive at Incheon International Airport late Monday night.

The chopper crashed on June sixth on its way to Cusco after the victims surveyed a site for a hydroelectric dam near the Inambari River in southeastern Peru.

Fourteen people were on board, including eight South Koreans.

Peruvian police, the military and alpine rescue experts searched the area and found all the bodies four days later on June tenth.
