Russian Nuke Envoy: 6-way Talks Still Valid

Russia's chief nuclear envoy says the six-party talks' framework to discuss North Korea's nuclear issue is still valid.

In an interview with a Russian news agency, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov said that parties to the six-way talks are discussing ways to resume the dialogue. He added that none of the involved countries question the importance of continuing the talks.

Meanwhile, U.S. Special Envoy for North Korean Policy Glyn Davies, who recently visited Russia, has said that rather than immediately resuming the talks, the five parties excluding North Korea should first agree on negotiation methods.
