Spain Bests Italy at Euro 2012 Championship

Spain's national soccer team soundly defeated Italy on Sunday to win the Euro 2012.

Spain's 4-0 blowout in the 2012 UEFA European Football Championship was its second time grabbing the title after its 2008 victory.

Spain led Italy early in the match on David Silva's goal in the 14th minute. Three more goals would follow from the Spanish team's Jordi Alba, Fernando Torres and Juan Mata.

Spain has set a record for winning three international major soccer titles, including the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
