Islamic Organizations Urge US to Ban Anti-Islam Film

Islamic organizations are urging the U.S. government to ban the screening of an anti-Islam film that ignited protests against the U.S. around the world.

In a TV address, the leader of Lebanon-based Shiite militant group Hezbollah criticized the U.S. for supporting and protecting the producers of the film in question, rather than banning it.

A Pakistani organization of protesters insisted that U.S. embassies and diplomatic missions should be closed down until the U.S. government punishes the director and producers of the controversial film.
