S. Korean, US Top Nuke Negotiators to Meet in Washington

The chief delegates of South Korea and U.S. to the stalled six-way nuclear talks will meet in Washington on Wednesday, local time.

The last time Lim Sung-nam and Glyn Davies met was around four months ago when Davies visited South Korea.

The two officials are expected to discuss the situation on the Korean Peninsula following the North’s launch of a long-range rocket early this year. They will also exchange views on activities by North Korean leader Kim Jong-un as part of talks about cooperating to stably manage situations on the peninsula.

Lim will also meet with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Kurt Campbell, officials of the National Security Council and experts on South and North Korea.
