Singer Psy's global sensation "Gangnam Style" has reached another height, climbing to third on the British music charts.

The Official Charts Company, which tallies song rankings in the UK, said Sunday local time that Gangnam Style is third on the singles chart.

Topping the chart is Irish rock band The Script's lead single "Hall of Fame" featuring American rapper will.i.am. Trailing at number two is "Say Nothing" by South London rapper Example.

Reuters News says Gangnam Style surged in album sales from several weeks before its release date in the UK, and is expected to top the UK singles chart next week.
