The IT sector is underdeveloped in Nicaragua with only ten percent of its population using the Internet.

The Central American country is now actively seeking to learn South Korea’s advanced information technology.

In particular, it is showing a keen interest in South Korea’s e-government.

Convenience is the biggest merit of South Korea’s e-government, which was introduced to all government sectors from public administration to tax affairs and to labor.

Caribbean countries and other Latin American nations, like Guatemala, Panama, and Trinidad and Tobago, are also asking South Korea to visit and hold presentations on e-governance.

Demand for South Korea’s IT technology is growing in the Latin American region, which has achieved economic development.
