South Korean singer PSY’s “Gangnam Style" has climbed its way to second on the U.S.'s Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Billboard Magazine's online business news site Billboard Biz says the Korean song that has taken the pop world by storm charted in second on Wednesday.

Gangnam Style first entered the chart two weeks ago, coming in 64th place before jumping to eleventh last week. The song is the first Korean song ever to rank so high on the Billboard Hot 100.

Billboard Biz predicted that PSY’s song could reach the top of the chart sometime next week.

As the hit tune sits in third on the British music singles chart, there is a high possiblity that Gangnam Style will conquer top spots in both U.S. and Britain, which are considered the homes of pop music.
