China Criticizes Japanese PM’s UN Address

China’s Foreign Minister has criticized Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda’s legalist overtones in his address before the UN General Assembly.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry said that the Japanese prime minister deceived himself and other people by calling for adherence to international law.

The ministry urged Japan to strictly respect international law and stop its acts to violate the sovereignty of other countries.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry denounced Japan for posing a grave challenge to the international order by ignoring historical facts and international law and denying the results of World War Two.
