North Korea and China have reportedly agreed to seek a joint tourism project for Mount Baekdu.

The North’s state tourism bureau and China’s Mount Changbai management committee have reportedly agreed on the joint tourism project in the North Korean region. The details of the project, however, were not released.

The North’s tourist routes recently doubled to nearly ten as the number of Chinese tourists seeking to travel in North Korea is surging.
