A U.S. court has lifted a preliminary sales injunction on Samsung Electronics’ tablet computer Galaxy Tab 10.1 won by Apple in a patent dispute.

U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh in San Jose, California, accepted Samsung’s request to remove the sales ban and had it lifted on Monday. The reversal comes after a jury turned down Apple’s claim in August that Samsung infringed on its design patent.

Koh had placed the temporary U.S. sales injunction on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in June, based on Apple's claim.
