China highlights Improving Sino-US Relations

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang says that China will cooperate with the U.S. to build unprecedented bilateral ties that will benefit both countries.

The Chinese premier made the remarks in a meeting with former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger on Monday.

Li highlighted the robust development of relations between China and the U.S. over the past four decades. He also stressed the importance of support and participation by people from both countries for further promoting their ties.

Kissinger responded by saying that the Sino-US relations are vital for the development and peace of the world. He proposed to boost communications and devise a long-term plan for better relations between the two countries.
