Dow Jones Climbs to New Record High

The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed more than 100 points on Tuesday on news of a rise in U.S. home prices and durable goods orders.

At the New York Stock Exchange, the Dow Jones Industrial Average shot up 111-point-90 points on Tuesday from Monday to close at 14-thousand-559-point-65.

The S&P 500 index jumped around 12 points to close at one-thousand-563-point-77 while the Nasdaq Composite Index closed at three-thousand-252-point-48, up 17-point-18 points.

The Dow Jones’ closing price on Tuesday broke a previous high recorded on March 14th. The S&P 500 index is also just one-point-38 points away from breaking its previous high.
