U.S. President Barack Obama and Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney took to the stage for a second time Tuesday in a heated TV debate with the election just three weeks away.

During Tuesday's debate, Obama, who is aiming for a second term, grabbed attention with his combative spirit and straightforward refutations.

After the debate ended, U.S. media assessed overall that Obama came out on top.

Attention is being drawn to the third and last TV debate that will take place next week.
