Apple Apologizes to Samsung in UK Newspapers

U.S. electronics giant Apple published a public apology in U.K. newspapers after receiving a court order to correct a notification on its U.K. Web site, stating Samsung Electronics did not copy Apple products.

In the apologies published in the Daily Mail and the Guardian, Apple said Samsung Electronics did not copy any aspects of Apple’s iPad to develop the Galaxy Tab.

Apple also made available the Web site where readers can access the court’s decision on the patents case between it and Samsung, and said the decision was valid for the entirety of the European Union.

Meanwhile, Apple has yet to upload a new online apology on its U.K. Web site, which it was ordered to do within 48 hours by a court of appeal on Thursday, local time.
