Violent armed clashes between government forces and antigovernment rebels have left more than 100 people dead across Syria.

AFP reported that a car bombing killed over 50 government forces and pro-government militias in Hama in central Syria.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the suicide car explosion was carried out by a member of an antigovernment organization near a base of Syrian government forces.

Government fighter jets bombed a stronghold of antigovernment rebels in northwestern Syria, killing at least 20 people.

Palestinian authorities said that Syrian government forces shelled a Palestinian refugee camp in the Syrian capital of Damascus, killing at least 30 people.
