San Jose Approves Incentive Package for Samsung Semiconductor

The city of San Jose in the U.S. state of California has unanimously passed a seven million dollar incentive package for Samsung Electronics to expand its research and development operations there.

The San Jose Mercury News reported Wednesday that the package includes state research and development tax credits and cash reimbursement for employee training.

San Jose city officials are expecting to bring in around 23 million dollars in benefits over the next ten years with the latest package.
