S. Korean Killed in Shooting in Philippines

A South Korean citizen residing in the Philippines was shot and killed Monday and another was injured when gunmen opened fired outside a restaurant in the city of Angeles.

A 34-year-old South Korean, identified only by his surname Lim, died at the scene in the parking lot of a Chinese restaurant around 4 p.m. Another South Korean, identified only by his surname Nam, was shot in the back of the neck and is being treated at Angeles University Foundation Medical Center.

A third South Korean fainted from shock at the scene and later testified about the incident after recovering at a local hospital.

Lim and Nam were apparently in the foreign currency exchange business in Angeles.
