Oil and Gold Down on Wednesday

A pessimistic outlook for crude oil demand has pulled down international oil prices.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange, West Texas Intermediate for May delivery lost slightly more than two dollars from the previous day to end at 86 dollars and 68 cents per barrel on Wednesday.

At the London ICE Futures Exchange, Brent crude traded at 98 dollars and 16 cents per barrel, down one dollar and 75 cents.

A strong U.S. dollar sent gold tumbling. Gold for June delivery ended at one-thousand-382 dollars and 70 cents per ounce, down four dollars and 70 cents from the previous day.
