President Park Geun-hye has been named one of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people in the world for 2013.

The list also included North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, U.S. President Barack Obama, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Pope Francis.

Time Magazine explained its selection of Park through an article contributed by Thailand’s Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, who called Park an inspiration for all women trying to break through the glass ceiling and for all individuals committed to serving the people.

Samsung CEO Kwon Oh-hyun was included among “titans” that made it to the 100 most influential people list.
