Police Arrest Second Suspect in Boston Marathon Bombing

Police have arrested the second suspect of the Boston Marathon bombing after a massive man-hunt.

CNN reported 19-year-old Dzhokar Tsarnaev was apprehended after he was found hiding in a boat in the backyard of a home in Watertown, Massachusetts around 8:45 p.m. on Friday, local time.

Tsarnaev was believed to be wearing a vest loaded with explosives at the time of his arrest. The report says that gun fire and small explosions were heard during the standoff between Tsarnaev.

Police had been searching for Tsarnaev and his 26-year-old brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev as suspects responsible for the bombing in Boston this week.

The older Tsarnaev was killed in an exchange of fire with police. The two brothers were from Chechnya and emigrated to the U.S. in 2003.
