The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) gained ten-point-63 points, or point-48 percent, on Friday. It ended the week at two-thousand-243-point-59.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining one-point-30 points, or point-19 percent, to close at 688-point-91.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened point-two won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-183 won.
