The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell three-point-04 points, or zero-point-10 percent, on Wednesday, closing the day at two-thousand-994-point-29.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose, however, gaining six-point-41 points, or zero-point-63 percent, to close at one-thousand-20-point-13.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened three-point-two won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-186-point-five won.
