The International Monetary Fund(IMF) has maintained its growth outlook for South Korea for this year at two-point-three percent.

The finance ministry said on Tuesday that the IMF issued the projection in its latest World Economic Outlook, unchanged from its forecast made in January.

The forecast is larger than the two-point-two percent growth projected by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development(OECD) and the South Korean government. The Bank of Korea projected two-point-one percent growth.

The IMF also kept its growth forecast for South Korea for 2025 at two-point-three percent.

The IMF forecast the global economy to grow three-point-two percent this year, revising upward by one-tenth of a percentage point from its previous estimate in January.
