Rain’s Scene in “Speed Racer” Revealed
A short footage of Rain playing the role of rookie racer Teajo Togokan in the Hollywood film “Speed Racer” is heating up the internet.

A video snippet of “Speed Racer,” which was introduced on an American news program recently, showed Rain in a white racing suit throwing a punch at the film’s co-star Matthew Fox.

“Speed Racer” is a 300-million-dollar mega blockbuster directed by the famous Wachowski Brothers and distributed by Warner Brothers. The movie is earning explosive attention from both Korea and abroad, as it is Rain’s Hollywood debut film. Rain had starred in several TV dramas and the widely-acclaimed film “I’m a Cyborg, but That’s Okay (Cyborg Girl),” but never in an American film with an English-speaking role.

Rain’s fans applauded his presence on the film, saying that his charisma can be felt even over the screen. Based on the Japanese cartoon “Mach Go Go,” the film “Speed Racer” is scheduled for a worldwide release in early May of next year.
