MC the Max, Rumble Fish, J-Walk, Wax, and The Name have come together to lend their wonderful singing talent to helping needy neighbors.
Korea’s top singers recently produced a digital single titled “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” to donate all the profit to the Korea Welfare Foundation (KWF) to help the underprivileged members of society. In addition, MC the Max and Rumble Fish plan to hold a fundraiser named “Happiness for 1,000 Won” at their respective solo concerts slated for later this month and donate the money collected to the KWF. MC the Max hopes that their digital single and concert would do well so that they can be of help to the needy.
“Do They Know It’s Christmas?” has been released online at the end of last month. The song is a new rendition of Christmas carols sung by the Band Aid during the 1980s. Band Aid was a project group formed to eradicate famine in Africa and composed of top British musicians of the time, such as George Michael, Culture Club, Sting, Duran Duran, U2, and Robbie Williams.
