2PM member Woo-young was scratched by a fan when he was performing at a club Friday night. His agent said in a phone interview that Woo-young was scratched in the face by a fan’s ring when he was high-fiving the crowd during a show. At first Woo-young was reported to be severely cut in the face. But Woo-young’s agency soon announced that although the scratch bled a little, it’s nothing but a minor accident. The incident was exaggerated and quickly spread over the internet by a number of fans, who witnessed the mishap and posted their accounts of the incident on their personal blogs and portal sites.

Woo-young appeared fine on a KBS music show, Music Bank, that very day and put his fans at ease. Meanwhile, 2PM is enjoying a huge success with their latest hit, “Heartbeat.”
