BoA, Ryu Grab Japan’s Golden Disc Awards
Korean pop artists BoA and Ryu have been chosen as the winners of Japan’s most prestigious music award. BoA will receive the award in the Video DVD category with her compilation of music videos entitled “8Fim&More”, released in 2003. This is the second time for BoA to win the prize following last year, when she was awarded for her 1st and 2nd official albums. Ryu will be awarded the prize in the Original Soundtrack category with songs like “From the Beginning to the End”, “My Memories” and “Moment” that featured in the popular Korean TV drama “Winter Sonata”. The award ceremony, hosted by the association of Japanese album industries, will be held on Mar. 10th at the NHK Hall in Tokyo.
