Local rock singer Seo Tai-ji will take 800 of his local fans with him when he leaves on May 8 for the Russian city of Vladivostok to perform there. The concert, to be held in commemoration of the 120th anniversary of diplomatic relations between South Korea and Russia, will be Seo’s first solo concert overseas. KT&G, the sponsor of the concert, is taking applications for the 800 spots through March 30 on its homepage, sangsang.ktng.com. Applicants must be over the age of 20. The final list will be made public through the Website on April 30. Of the 800 fans who will go to Vladivostok, 300 will be members of Seo’s official Web site, while another 100 will be members of KT&G’s volunteer program. The group will leave on May 5 and return on May 10.
