Korean pop musicians Kangta, BoA and Dongbangshinki received great hospitality from their Taiwanese fans upon their visit to the country to attend the 15th Golden Melody Awards ceremony on May 8th. After participating in the awarding ceremony, the Korean pop stars also put on performances entitled “The Korean Storm”. The Golden Melody Awards is a major annual event for the pop music market in the Chinese-Asian region in which top stars from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan participate. Kangta and BoA stood on the stage at the event to award prizes in the Best Composer and Album Producer categories, known as the top prizes given at the ceremony. On the stage after the awarding ceremony, Kangta performed “Twenty-three” and “The Best”, while BoA sang “No. 1” and “Valenti”. Dongbangshinki also had the opportunity to perform their hit single “HUG” on their overseas debut stage through this event.
