BoA to hold anti-war concert
BoA will hold an anti-war concert with “People Searching for Songs”, a vocal group who pursues popular movement. On June 12th, 6 p.m., the concert will be held at the Outdoor Theater of Yonsei University. Singers like “People Searching for Songs” and Shin Hae-cheol who have been delivering their political views through their music will be joined by BoA to sing together for a world that is free of war and violence. BoA’s participating in the anti-war concert has been proposed by Shin Hae-cheol, the producer of the concert. BoA is currently in the middle of recording her new album in Korea. All the proceeds of the concert will be used as a peace fund that will be donated to help the North Korean children who were injured at the Ryongcheon train blast.
