Shin Seung-hoon to release 10th album in August
Shin Seung-hoon announced that he will release a new album in late August. At a press conference held at Budokan, in Tokyo, April 15th prior to the “M Countdown in Japan” concert, Shin explained that the release of his 10th album has been delayed due to film soundtrack projects that he is currently working on. Shin added that by late August, the new album will be available. After the release of his 10th album, Shin said that he will work on a joint project with some Japanese artists.

Shin told reporters, “It’s easy to come across Korean movies or dramas in Japan, but that was not the case with Korean pop music.” He added, “I would like to meet with the Japanese public with better songs.”

At the “M Countdow n in Japan,” Shin Seung-hoon performed “What Shall I Do,” a song featured in the television drama “Tree of Heaven” and “I Believe” taken from the original soundtrack for the Korean movie “My Sassy Girl,” and gained a great response from the Japanese audience.
