American soul singer-songwriter and pianist Alicia Keys will perform in Seoul on August 7 as part of her ‘As I Am 2008’ concert tour. The winner of 11 Grammy Awards, 17 Billboard Music Awards and three American Music Awards has sold more than 25 million copies of her albums globally since her debut in 2001 with her first album ‘Songs in A Minor’. The artist plans to perform songs from her third album entitled ‘As I Am’(2007) including ‘No One’, ‘Like You’ll Never See Me Again’ and ‘Superwoman’. The songs from her third album were inspired by her travels through Egypt and Africa. The artist says she was also inspired by legendary singers including Van Morrison, Jimi Hendrix and Janice Joplin. Keys has invited Korean artist Taeyang, member of the popular male vocal group Big Bang, as the opening artist at her upcoming concert.
