Cha Tae-hyun’s talent for singing was noticed while he was shooting TV dramas “Into the Sunshine” and “Shy Lovers.” Thus it was no surprise when this versatile actor was approached to try out singing. Meeting the calls of his fans, Cha released his first album in 2001 after two years of preparation. Attesting to his popularity among his colleagues in the entertainment business, a number of noted musicians – Yoon Jong-shin, Yoo Hee-yeol, Kim Dong-ryul, and Lee Seung-hwan – took part in producing the album. After the big success of his debut album, Cha took time to roll out his second album “The [bu:k]” in 2003. The two-year lapse did nothing to diminish his passion or talent and he continues to amaze us both on screen and stage with his wit and energy.
