K-pop sensation Rain, who is reaching out to the world stages, will invite some 40 thousand fans to a free concert prior to his world tour. The organizers of Rain’s world tour said that the free concert will be held on October 13th at Jamsil Stadium in southeastern Seoul. The organizers also said that Rain’s repertoire will be the same as that of the world tour he will embark on later this year. The title of Rain’s world tour is “Rain’s Coming” and it is the largest global project by a Korean pop musician. On the world tour, Rain will perform 35 concerts in major cities in 12 countries, including the U.S., Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, China and Korea. The tour will kick off next month here in Korea and continue for 5 months. According to the organizers of the tour, the purpose of Rain’s free concert in Seoul is to express the singer’s gratitude to his domestic fans for being there from the start. Rain will hold a fund-raising campaign at the concert to help physically-challenged people. The audience will be invited to donate money for the cause.
