The 44th Dae Jong Award Festival will hold its awards ceremony tonight at the Sejong Cultural Center in Seoul.

This year marked the most number of films shown at the festival (66), with 29 making the final selection. Commercial and critically-acclaimed hits “300 Pound Beauty,” “The Host,” “For Horowitz” and “Tajja” are leading the pack of films up for awards tonight.

“300 Pound Beauty” leads with 12 nominations, followed by “The Host” with 11.
The dramatic film “Milyang/ Secret Sunshine,” which was recently shown at the Cannes Film Festival and for which Jeon Do Yeon won the Best Actress Award, has been chosen to receive a special Dae Jong Award.
