Big Bang has successfully completed its concert tour in Japan. The group’s first concerts in Japan after debuting there eight months ago took place in three Japanese cities. The tour started at the Yokohama Arena on February 10th and 11th, and stopping at the Kobe World Kinen Hall on February 13th and 14th and finally wrapping up at the Budokan on 16th and 17th. All the shows were sold out, drawing 60 thousand fans in total.
Big Bang’s latest concerts were marked by the members’ powerful presence. The repertoire included “Top of the World” and “With U.” The group’s agency, YG Entertainment, reported that the audience came from diverse backgrounds and all age groups, indicating the five-member group’s all-around appeal. Big Bang demonstrated its potential for success in overseas markets and its indispensable role in boosting the popularity of K-pop music. Meanwhile, the group plans to release a new album in Korea soon.
