Korean movie star Bae Doo-na will be teaming up with the famous Wachowski Brothers (think the Matrix series) for the new film "Cloud Atlas".

After rumors surfaced that she was currently in the process of going over the movie's script, Bae has recently confirmed her ticket into Tinseltown. Bae will take on the role of Son-mi against the backdrop of Seoul in the year 2144.

Aside from the Wachowski Brothers, the movie is based on the book written by famed author David Mitchell, to be directed by Tom Tykwer.

Also on the cast will be huge names like Tom Hanks, Halle Barry, Susan Sarandon, and Hugo Weaving. It's expected to premiere around the Thanksgiving holidays in 2012.
