Stars Awarded At The Korea Drama Awards
The 2011 Korea Drama Awards was held to celebrate some of the highest-rated domestic dramas.

The Korea Drama Awards took place on October 2nd in Jinju or South Gyeongsang Province. It celebrated some of the best dramas that aired on cable or ground-wave channels during this past year.

Song Ho-young and Choi Song-hyun were the emcees for the evening, featuring 13 categories. The ever-so-popular drama "Secret Garden" won the Grand Prize and the Writer's Award, while "Sunggyungwan Scandal" earned a Production Award nod.

The Top Actor Award was given to Lee Min-ho of "City Hunter", while the Top Actress Award was awarded to Yeom Jung-ah of "Royal Family".

The Best Supporting Actor Award was given to Joo Sang-wook ("Giant", "Thorn Bird") and Lee Yoo-ri ("Twinkle Twinkle Shining"). The Newbie Award was handed to Kim Soo-hyeon ("Dream High") and Im Soo-hyang ("Paradise Ranch").

The Best OST Award went to Heo-gak for the song in "Best Love" for stirring up emotions and adding that special something to the drama.

Lee Min-ho and Kim Soo-hyeon also were both awarded Hallyu Star Award and the Popularity Award, respectively.
