2011's undoubtedly a rough year for Big Bang.

Just about when the hype over Daesung's car accident which ended up killing a motorcyclist has settled down, now leader G-Dragon is in the hot seat: for having smoked marijuana!

After being asked to take a drug test by authorities in July, the results are out and a Seoul police representative confirmed on October 5th, "We've indicted G-Dragon on charges of smoking marijuana."

The initial urine test results had actually come back negative, but a hair strand test proved that there were indeed small traces of the drug in G-Dragon. It's believed that the idol group leader smoked marijuana sometime last May while in Japan for a tour there. Someone had approached G-Dragon in the bathroom of a club while the group was celebrating a successful show, and offered him what seemed like a cigarette. The young talent took about three puffs, noting it's weird uncigarette-like taste, and then threw it away.

Upon contemplation, in hindsight, G-Dragon admits to having smoked what must have been marijuana. Investigators decided to give G-Dragon a slap on the wrist, leaving him with just a warning because it was such a small amount and also because it was a first offense. However, eyes are all on what was arguably the hottest idol group on the scene to see how this latest blow will affect their activities.
