It's been two years since they walked down the aisle, but Ryu Shi-won and his wife are currently in the middle of divorce filing reports.


After wedding with a dance major nine years his junior in October of 2010, Ryu and his wife welcomed a baby girl three months later. According to reports, Ryu's wife had filed for divorce at the Seoul Family Court this past March 22nd.


According to an official statement released by Ryu through his representatives, he stated, "There has been no agreement on the divorce with my wife, and I hope to keep my family by talking it out with my wife until the end. We're hoping to narrow down our differences through dialogue and will not end up in divorce."


Taking a look at some postings and updates from Ryu over the past few months, there was a posting on his mini-hompi on August of 2011. The Hallyu star had said, "I have so many thoughts these days. It seems like a long time already. A frustration and feeling of disturbance I can't talk about, with no opportunity to express myself. I know of the saying that there's nothing that's the same as my heart/thoughts in this world, but why is it that it rings so true now? Nobody knows my heart, and they only talk about themselves. I want to take off to somewhere else, but I'm in a reality where even that I can't do as I please."


Ryu continued on, "I just want to become an ordinary person and enjoy my freedom, but I can't do anything that I want to do. I could just cherish what I see and feel, but I have too many thoughts to do that."


He finished by saying, "I hope you don't talk about me or criticize me without knowing my heart. I hope you don't judge me according to all the things that I have no control over or are unrelated to me."
