Once considered a “fashion don’t” because of their puffiness and tendency to make the wearer look bloated, puffers are finally cool this season with so many stylish options to choose from. When done right, anyone can wear the trend as long as you pay close attention to a couple of styling tips sure to make you look stylish while keeping you warm.

This season’s puffers vary from flashy to feathery. If you are looking for ways to revamp your style, ditch those boring styles and opt for a flashy puffer coat in metallics and flaunt your fashion sense. For an extra chic and cozy night out, top an LBD (little black dress) with a gold puffer coat and a pair of tall, over-the-knee boots and take your style up a notch.

*Go short and slim
Some women hesitate adopting this style because of the bulk of the coat. One secret to looking slender and classy in such a casual outfit is to accentuate the waistline. Simply add a belt in the same color as the coat and instantly redefine the waist. To look taller and leaner, you can opt for a short puffer coat that come just above the hip line.
