Mr. David Straub, a visiting professor at the Graduate School of International Studies in Seoul National University.

2007-04-20

Professor Straub, a professor from Johns Hopkins University, started teaching in March at Seoul National University as a visiting professor. His class focuses mainly on foreign affairs involving Korea-US relations and North Korea. Straub was a state department official, and used to work here at the US Embassy in Seoul. While serving here, he experienced both the first and second nuclear crises triggered by North Korea. Recently I invited him to our studio and had a conversation with him about his teaching job, and heard his analysis of the North Korean situation, and the ongoing six-way nuclear talks, among other things. Enjoy listening!
