On November 8th a world tour showcase for the musical production of “Jekyll and Hyde” took place in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul. At the center of the Korean creative crew spearheading the collaborative effort is OD Musical Company’s CEO Shin Choon-soo. Nicknamed the Don Quixote of the Korean performance world, Shin is an indomitable character who survived the tough competition on Broadway and has finally earned a recognition as a talented producer. He also has a magical touch that can breathe life back to a musical overlooked by the audiences.


Although Shin had enjoyed a series of successes in Korea, he had a greater dream than a series of successes in Korea – Putting on a show on Broadway. Having produced some 40 musicals in Korea and on Broadway, Shin Choon-soo is ready to challenge himself again. He’s taking the Korean version of “Jekyll and Hyde” on a world tour. The tour will be officially launched in March of 2017 in Seoul before going onto cities in Asia and the United Sates. Just like the hit song “This Is the Moment” Shin is enjoying this moment when he’s about to embark on a world tour adventure.
