Competition Tight for 'Dream Job' in Australia

Applications are flooding in for the post of ‘superintendent’ of an Australian island resort in the Great Barrier Reef, which is being touted as the 'world's best job.'

The state of Queensland says 30-thousand people from over 200 countries, including 80 Koreans, have applied for the post on Hamilton Island.

The chosen will be paid a ‘salary’ of 150-thousand Australian dollars, some 140 million Korean won, over the course of six months to enjoy the numerous activities the resort has to offer, such as swimming, snorkeling and high-end resort services. The person needs only to report on their adventures on an online blog every week.

A Queensland official says applicants will be screened through interviews and the winner will be announced March sixth.
