Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has stressed the six-party nuclear talks as the way to defuse the situation on the Korean Peninsula.

He was responding to a question about his thoughts on North Korea's missile launch during a news conference at the National People's Congress.

He said denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula through the six-way talks is the only way to guarantee Korean stability and the security of Northeast Asia.
