Prime Minister Han Seung-soo arrived in the Czech Republic Monday afternoon for the second stop of his visit to Europe.

Han flew in from Germany, where he met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and visited the 2009 Hannover Messe industrial exhibitions.

During his stay in Prague, he will sit down with President Vaclav Klaus and Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek to discuss ways to expand bilateral economic exchanges.

Han will also seek active cooperation from Prague for the early conclusion of free trade talks between South Korea and the European Union.

The Czech Republic holds the EU’s rotating presidency until the end of this year.
