A delegation of U.S. business executives that visited North Korea last week says it stressed to Pyongyang that it must give up its nuclear ambitions if it wants foreign investment in its country.

The Associated Press on Wednesday quoted chief delegate Charles Boyd as saying that the delegation conveyed the message to North Korean officials during a four-day visit to the communist state last week.

Boyd, who is the president of Business Executives for National Security and is a retired U.S. Air Force general, said North Korean officials were not at all pleased with the business delegation's message.

Comprised of eight officials, including former American International Group CEO Maurice Greenberg, the delegation visited the North from Monday to Thursday of last week and met with top North Korean officials, including parliamentary chief Kim Yong-nam.
